The last of the great domain names

Domain names are a lot like women: the good ones are all taken, but you can still buy one from a strange country. Four years ago, when I had to transition my blog from university web space to the greater internets, I was pretty satisfied with securing It wasn’t the flashiest domain out there, but it fit me (moreso at the time), it was composed of English words without dashes, and it was available. Imagine my elation when I recently discovered that no one had claimed It’s now all mine, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Sadly, is taken by a domain squatter, but I went ahead and snapped up because godaddy only wanted $0.89 for it.

I have no plans to make this domain anything other than a mirror of, but I’m open to suggestions. It’s been noted that this new domain has advertising potential — I remain skeptical, but give it your best shot in the comments.

Just out of curiosity, how long has this been up?

I bought about a week ago. I’ve had for about four years.
